Issues fixed and new functionality as follows:

  • 1298 Various fixes in the setup module for Ledgers
    • ‘Cancel’ button on insert/edit screen for Currencies
    • Uniqueness check of the Bank Account Name so it is no longer possible to set up two accounts with the same name!
    • ‘Cancel’ button to New/Edit Tax Rate screen.
    • ‘Cancel’ button to New/Edit Tax Status screen, and removed duplicate heading from index list.
    • Uniqueness check on Tax Status Description value to prevent two statuses with the same description being entered.
    • Uniqueness check of the Payment Term Description so it is no longer possible to set up two payment terms with the same name.
  • 1302 Correction such that the system checks and traps the error when accessing a Type Code for an action where the required action does not exist. The actions associated with Type Codes are now shown when viewing the list of Type Codes.
  • 1905 When entering a customer reference for a new or existing Sales Order, now checks if this reference has already been entered on another Sales Order
  • 1906 A sent or acknowledged order can now be reset if the order has no lines. Lines can only be deleted from an order if it’s status is New.
  • 1917 Facility to automate the creation of journals for SL/PL contras using a contras control account in the GL parameters.
  • 1922 Engineering Module changes –
    • Printing has been enabled when viewing a list of Work Schedules.
    • Default status on Work Schedule search is now ‘Active’.
    • The clear button now correctly resets the search on viewing a list of Work Schedules.
    • The person dropdown on adding resources now excludes leavers.
  • 1925 Fixes an error in the reporting module when running a report which includes the country code.
  • 1929 Adds the facility to make Sales Ledger Customer and Purchase Ledger Supplier accounts active after they have been made inactive.
  • 1937 New report definition SOQuote and associated it with the option to print a Quote.
  • 1948 New facility to identify a bank account as the primary account; when making or receiving payments, or anywhere else where a drop down list of bank accounts is available, the primary account will be the automatically selected entry in the list. However, this will be overridden for Sales Customers and Purchase Suppliers if these have the default bank account defined in which to receive/make payments.
  • 1949 Added the PO Description to the view PO screen to bring it into line with the SO view. Also, when viewing a PO, if any lines have been received, a comma separated list of GRNs is displayed; these are enabled to allow click through to the GRN. When creating an invoice from a GRN, pull through the description(s) from the order header(s) into the invoice header.
  • 1964 The loading of uzlets is now deferred so that the main page loads and displays before the uzlets. The menu items are enabled so that the user no longer has to wait for the complete page to load before being able to navigate to another page.
  • 1972 Corrected a problem whereby numeric fields containing ‘0’ are not being formatted as ‘0.00’.
  • 1973 Enablebd’Output’ option on Employee Pay History list so that the selected fields in the list can be added/removed and added the actual date and period processed to the view.
  • 1974 Within GL Parameters, when selecting a parameter defined as a GL Control Account, it now lists only GL Accounts marked as control accounts instead of showing all accounts.
  • 1975 Fixed a problem on the Sales History uzlet where the link for the oldest month had no dates in the from/to parameters.
  • 1976 Corrected a problem where the ‘Output’ button does not work on the ‘View Sales Orders’ when viewing a stock item.
  • 1977 The system now checks if system policies are enabled and only tries to load policies if they are enabled.
  • 1978 It is now only possible to write off a GRN that has been accrued.
  • 1979 When selecting a payment type within the batch payment system the system will now only allow payment types that have a batch payment method installed (currently BACS or Cheque).
  • 1981 Fixed a problem where the validation of foreign key fields for multiple fields will return fail if all the fields are optional and empty.
  • 1982 Added a sidebar option to view invoices on query for a PL Supplier and SL Customer.
  • 1983 When adding or editing a user, the drop down list of people now excludes people already linked to a user or who have left the system company.
  • 1984 Corrected a problem on the Sales History Summary uzLet where occasionally the Year to Date value shows zero instead of the correct value.
  • 1987 Corrected the problem where the link on Invoice Number on the Select Invoices for Printing/Posting screen was not working.
